Question 211: To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children if data are available concerning the annual death rate from cancer in County Donegal; the number of male and female deaths from cancer; the types of cancer prevalent in the county; if there is any divergence from the norm; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Statistics on cancer incidences and cancer deaths are collated by the National Cancer Registry. My Department has asked the director of the registry to examine this matter and to reply directly to the Deputy.
