The project referred to by the Deputy is listed among the large-scale projects on the 2005 school building programme which have been approved to proceed to tender and construction. The school authority recently received an instruction to commence the pre-qualification process and proceed to tender. It is envisaged that the schools and their design team will be proceeding to tender in the very near future. The contract period for this refurbishment and extension project will be approximately 12 months.
