Question 89: To ask the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if his Department has completed its socio-economic strategy for Mitchelstown; if so, the findings of the strategy; the actions and policies which have been formulated in view of the strategy findings; if not, when he expects it to be completed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The socio-economic study in question was commissioned by Ballyhoura Development Group in association with local interest groups and not by my Department. I understand that a first draft of the study has been completed by the consultants appointed to carry out the work. The final draft is expected within the next few weeks. I am informed that the report will then go on public display.
