Question 181: To ask the Minister for Finance if his attention has been drawn to the fact that a college (details supplied) in County Sligo is a key provider of university level education with a goal to be responsive to local, regional, national and international needs; if his attention has further been drawn to the fact that the college is planning additional building and modernisation projects to meet the demands and to improve the welfare, health and safety of students and staff; if he will sanction the certification required; when it will be granted; the reason for the delay; and if he will make a statement on the matter. This application is being processed by officials from my Department in consultation with the Revenue Commissioners and the Department of Education and Science.
