Question 176: To ask the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the reason for the delay by his Department in completing its consideration of a case submitted by a person (details supplied) in Dublin 5 regarding their pension; and if he will make a statement on the matter. An appeals process is underway regarding the issues raised by the pensioner concerned. Legal advice has been sought from the Attorney General's office. Once the advice has been received, the matter can be determined as quickly as possible.
