Question 206: To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children if the use of equipment under the authority of the Health Service Executive by a family, which is causing noise pollution, can be requested to cease because of serious disturbance to neighbours and if she can give advice on resolving this issue. The Health Act 2004 provided for the Health Service Executive, which was established on 1 January 2005. Under the Act, the executive has the responsibility to manage and deliver,or arrange to be delivered on its behalf, health and personal social services. As the question relates to equipment under the authority of the Health Service Executive, my Department has requested the chief officer for the executive's eastern regional area to investigate the matter raised and to reply directly to the Deputy
