The number of approved consultant psychiatrist posts in each of the years 2000 to 2005 as requested by the Deputy was as follows: 2000 — 225; 2001 — 246; 2002 — 261; 2003 — 276; 2004 — 281; and 2005 — 295, as at 23 February 2005.
