Question 575: To ask the Minister for Transport if he has had discussions with the developer of a new product of a company (details supplied); the steps he intends to take to encourage the use of this product; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1148/05]

There have been no discussions between my Department and the named company. In any event, it would not be appropriate for the Minister or the Department to endorse or encourage the use of any particular product.
