Question 193: To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children if her attention has been drawn to an increasing number of serious accidents caused by the use of a leisure facility, more commonly known as a bouncing castle; if, in her discussions with the accident and emergency departments of various acute hospitals and the ambulance and fire service, this matter has been raised; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The number and extent of injuries associated with the use of the leisure facility as described by the Deputy did not feature in my discussions with the agencies I have met in the context of improving the delivery of emergency services.
