Question 279: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will investigate the so-called Guantanamo express plane revelations at Shannon Airport and the possible illegal activities involving kidnap and torture carried out via this plan; and if he will work with the Departments of Transport and Defence on this serious and important issue. If and when complaints of alleged criminal activity of the kind referred to by the Deputy are made to the Garda Síochána, I am satisfied that a full investigation will be conducted. I can confirm that my colleagues, the Ministers for Transport and Defence, would enjoy my full co-operation with any queries they may have in the matter.
