The Electoral (Amendment) Bill 2004 was signed by the President on 18 May 2004. A commencement order was made by me, as Minister, on 19 May 2004 bringing into operation Parts 1 and 3, sections 33, 34 and 35 of Part 4 and Schedule 5 of the Act.
