Question 256: To ask the Minister for Health and Children if he has determined the extent of the facility to be provided for persons with autism at Myshall, County Carlow; when a decision will be made regarding the provision of a centre of excellence at that location for the care and treatment of persons with autism; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the information requested by the Deputy regarding Myshall is, in the first instance, the responsibility of the South Eastern Health Board, my Department has asked the chief executive officer of the South Eastern Health Board to investigate the matter and reply directly to the Deputy.
