Question 451: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government when the archaeological report on the excavation at Ardfert Cathedral will be published; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3961/04]

It had been hoped that the final draft of the excavation report for Ardfert would be finished by September 2003. Unfortunately, the specialist report on the human remains has still not been completed by the relevant consultant. He has indicated that the report will be submitted by the middle of the year and publication will follow. As promised previously, I will arrange for a copy of the published report to be forwarded to the Deputy.
