I have I have received notice from the following Senators that they propose to raise the following matters:
Senator Maria Byrne - The need for the Minister for Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform to make a statement on deductions from public sector pensions.
Senator Micheál Carrigy - The need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to provide additional funding to Longford County Council under the Voids Programme.
Senator Malcolm Byrne - The need for the Minister for Transport to provide an update on the development of the Dublin to Rosslare rail line.
Senator Tim Lombard - The need for the Minister for Transport to provide an update on the funding request from Cork County Council for the necessary upgrade to Pewterhole Cross near Kinsale, County Cork.
Senator Mary Seery Kearney - The need for the Minister of State with special responsibility for disability to make a statement on the funding of equine therapies as announced in budget 2025.
Senator Timmy Dooley - The need for the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media to make a statement on the application by Clare GAA for funding under the large scale sport infrastructure fund.
The matters raised by the Senators are suitable for discussion. I have selected those raised by Senators Maria Byrne and Micheál Carrigy and they will be taken now. Senators Mary Seery Kearney and Timmy Dooley have withdrawn their Commencement matters which I had originally selected. All other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters that they wish to raise.
