I have received notice from the following Senators that they propose to raise the following matters:

Senator Martin Conway - The need for the Minister for Health to provide an update on plans for a national haemochromatosis strategy to increase awareness, diagnosis and equitable access to testing and treatment.

Senator Malcolm Byrne - The need for the Minister for Health to provide an update on the promised primary care centre at Gorey, County Wexford, and to indicate when expressions of interest will be advertised.

Senator Tim Lombard - The need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to provide an update on the work being carried out by his Department in conjunction with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine to secure the renewal of Ireland's nitrates derogation from 1 January 2026.

Senator Barry Ward - The need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to make a statement on the implementation of the Bathing Water Quality (Amendment) Regulations 2024, SI 322/2024, which allow local authorities to identify the bathing season in each local authority area.

The matters raised by the Senators are suitable for discussion and they will be taken now.
