I have received notice from the following Senators that they propose to raise the following matters:

Senator Martin Conway - the need for the Minister for Health to provide an update on the review of cardiac services; and his plans to develop a new cardiovascular strategy, to include an early detection population-based screening programme and the nationwide roll-out of the HIQA recommendations on transcatheter aortic valve implantation.

Senator Róisín Garvey - the need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the extension of the opening hours of the injury clinic in Ennis Hospital, County Clare, to help reduce pressure on the emergency department at University Hospital Limerick.

Senator Barry Ward - the need for the Minister for Health to extend the payment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, ADHD, medication to all persons under the long-term illness scheme.

Senator Garret Ahearn - the need for the Minister for Transport to issue an additional invitation for schools to join the safe routes to school programme.

The matters raised by the Senators are suitable for discussion and they will be taken now.
