I have received notice from the following Senators that they propose to raise the following matters:
Senator Victor Boyhan - The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the controls and measures in place for the provision and retention of GP services in Lucan and Adamstown, County Dublin.
Senator Ollie Crowe - The need for the Minister for Education to introduce and fund a scheme to allow fully vetted PE instructors to run programmes in fundamental movement in primary schools.
Senator Seán Kyne - The need for the Minister for Education to provide an update on the stage 2(b) submission for Scoil Mhuire, Maigh Cuilinn, Contae na Gaillimhe.
Senator Timmy Dooley - The need for the Minister for Transport to make a statement on engagement with Transport Infrastructure Ireland and Irish Rail on delivering a rail stop at Crusheen railway station, County Clare, as part of the ongoing strategic rail review.
Senator Joe O'Reilly - The need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to review the qualification requirements for grant-aided small rural sewerage schemes.
Senator Martin Conway - The need for the Minister for Health to provide an update on the review of cardiac services; and his plans to develop a new cardiovascular strategy to include an early detection population-based screening programme and the nationwide roll-out of the HIQA recommendations on transcatheter aortic valve implantation.
Senator Barry Ward - The need for the Minister for Health to extend the payment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, ADHD, medication to all persons under the long-term illness scheme.
Senator Erin McGreehan - The need for the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth to make a statement on the commitment to ratify the optional protocol to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
Senator Tom Clonan - The need for the Minister for Children, Equality, Disablity, Integration and Youth to make a statement on making the Trust in Care reports available to a person with an intellectual disability and their family (details supplied) and the ethical requirements of such reports being made available to the survivors of abuse and their families.
Senator Tim Lombard - The need for the Minister for Education to provide an update on the emergency works scheme funding application submitted by Laragh National School, Bandon, County Cork.
Senator Fiona O'Loughlin - The need for the Tánaiste and Minister for Defence to make a statement on changes in policy to combat illegal encampments, waste and dumping on the Curragh Plains, County Kildare.
Senator Marie Sherlock - The need for the Minister for Education to make a statement on the delays in the construction of the new school building for Gaelschoil Choláiste Mhuire, Dominick Street, Dublin 1 and the timelines for expected completion of the project.
Senator Micheál Carrigy - The need for the Minister for Education to provide an update on the timelines for the delivery of additional classrooms at Ardscoil Phádraig, Granard, County Longford.
The matters raised by the Senators are suitable for discussion and I have selected Senators Victor Boyhan, Ollie Crowe, Seán Kyne and Timmy Dooley and they will be taken now. The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters that they wish to raise.
