Proposed approval by Seanad Éireann of meeting of the Joint Committee on Social Protection, Community and Rural Development and the Islands on Arranmore Island: Motion

I move:

That Seanad Éireann, in accordance with Article 15.1.3° of the Constitution, hereby determines that the Joint Committee on Social Protection, Community and Rural Development and the Islands may meet on Arranmore Island, County Donegal, on a date in 2023 to be decided by the Committee, in order to hear from community groups and populations on the Islands, first hand, on the operation of national and local policies as they affect Islanders: provided that, pursuant to Standing Order 82(3), Members may participate in such meeting from within the parliamentary precincts by means of the videoconferencing platform approved and provided by the Houses of the Oireachtas Commission.
