I have received notice from the following Senators that they propose to raise the following matters:

Senator Eugene Murphy - The need for the Minister for Education to make a statement on school transport provision in north-east Roscommon, particularly in the Roosky and Termonbarry areas

Senator Fintan Warfield - The need for the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media to develop new supports for Irish organisations applying for Creative Europe funding to increase the level of drawdown of EU funding.

Senator Barry Ward - The need for the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media to increase targeted funding for non-professional sport across Ireland, including parasport.

Senator Erin McGreehan - The need for the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to make a statement on specific supports available for self-employed persons with disabilities.

Senator Malcolm Byrne - The need for the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science to make a statement on the approach of his Department and agencies with regard to artificial intelligence, AI, tools for education and training purposes.

Senator Lynn Boylan - The need for the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications to make a statement on the need for a liquefied natural gas terminal for security of supply.

Senator Maria Byrne - The need for the Minister for Education to provide an update on the application for an extension by Catherine McCauley School, Limerick.

Senator Tim Lombard - The need for the Minister for Education to make a statement on the provision of a special school in west Cork to provide appropriate education for pupils with specific needs which cannot be met in mainstream schools.

Senator Garret Ahearn - The need for the Minister for Environment, Climate and Communications to introduce grants for businesses to install solar or photovoltaic, PV, panels.

On the matters raised by the Senators are suitable for discussion, I have selected Senators Eugene Murphy, Fintan Warfield, Barry Ward and Erin McGreehan and they will be taken now. The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters that they wish to raise.
