I have received notice from the following Senators that they propose to raise the following matters:

Senator Tim Lombard - The need for the Minister for Finance to introduce regulations to ensure engagement between vulture funds and clients.

Senator Victor Boyhan - The need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to outline whether responsibility for the collection of the derelict sites levy should be assigned to the Revenue Commissioners.

Senator John McGahon - The need for the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media to make a statement on cross-Border tourism initiatives, including the role Carlingford Lough Ferry plays in promoting for cross-Border tourism.

Senators Martin Conway and Robbie Gallagher - The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on measures to address hospital waiting lists for ophthalmic services.

Senator Mary Fitzpatrick - The need for the Minister for Education to make a statement on the timeline for funding to allow the new school building for Gaelscoil Choláiste Mhuire, Dominick Street, Dublin 1, to proceed.

Senator Paul Gavan - The need for the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to make a statement on Ireland's compliance with EU rules under the directive on European works councils.

Senator Micheál Carrigy - The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the need for a permanent contract for out-of-hour services at St. Joseph's Campus, Longford to replace the previous MIDOC service.

Senator Garret Ahearn - The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the timeline for the opening of the fertility clinic at Nenagh Hospital, County Tipperary.

Of the matters raised by the Senators suitable for discussion, I have selected Senators Tim Lombard, Victor Boyhan, John McGahon, and Martin Conway and Robbie Gallagher, who are sharing time, and they will be taken now.

I regret that I had to rule out of order the matter raised by Senator Mary Fitzpatrick on the ground that it is a repeat of a Commencement matter raised on 7 March.

The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters that they wish to raise.
