Notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders or the Order of the House today, Committee and Remaining Stages of the Payment of Wages (Amendment) (Tips and Gratuities) Bill 2022 shall be taken on the conclusion of Committee Stage of the Sick Leave Bill 2022 and the proceedings thereon shall, if not previously concluded, be brought to a conclusion at 9 p.m. by the putting of one question from the Chair which shall, in relation to amendments set down, include only those accepted or proffered by the Government.

I welcome to the Visitors Gallery the group from County Kildare. They are here with Senator Vincent P. Martin who is one of the more eclectic Senators in the House and always has a way with words and is certainly a character, to say the least. We are very lucky to have his contribution in the Upper House. It is great to have the people from County Kildare here this evening.
