I have received notice from Senator Erin McGreehan that, on the motion for the Commencement of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the screening supports and measures in place for families of patients with sickle cell disease.

I have also received notice from Senator Timmy Dooley of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on travel costs for home care assistants.

I have also received notice from Senator Malcolm Byrne of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on health insurance requirements for international students.

I have also received notice from Senator Barry Ward of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to make a statement on the timeline for the allocation of a permanent site, including any interim site, for Gaelscoil Laighean, Dún Laoghaire, County Dublin.

I have also received notice from Senator Eileen Flynn of the following matter:

The need for the Minister with responsibility for special education and inclusion to make a statement on the proposed special education centres.

I have also received notice from Senators Seán Kyne and Aisling Dolan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to make a statement on the funding allocation to Galway County Council.

I have also received notice from Senator Victor Boyhan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to make a statement on the recruitment of biodiversity officers in local authorities.

The matters raised are suitable for discussion and I have selected those raised by Senators McGreehan, Dooley, Malcolm Byrne, Ward, Flynn, and Kyne and Dolan, who will share time, and they will be taken now. Senator Boyhan may give notice on another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
