I have received notice from Senator Annie Hoey that, on the motion for the Commencement of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to outline when the monthly stipend to student nurses, approved by the Cabinet in 2021, will be paid.

I have also received notice from Senator Martin Conway of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to provide an update on resourcing at the adult metabolic service in the Mater Hospital and resourcing for response testing to new innovative therapies for phenylketonuria, PKU, treatment.

I have also received notice from Senator Maria Byrne of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on progress in the roll-out of the programme on women's health announced in budget 2022.

I have also received notice from Senator Aidan Davitt of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications to make a statement on the exclusion of wood pellet stoves from the national retrofitting scheme.

I have also received notice from Senator Garret Ahearn of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to outline his vision for HR shared services in local government.

I have also received notice from Senator Fiona O'Loughlin of the following matter:

The need for the Minster for Defence to make a statement on the affiliation of representative organisations within the Defence Forces with the Irish Congress of Trade Unions.

I have also received notice from Senator Malcolm Byrne of the following matter:

The need for the Minister of State with responsibility for the Office of Public Works to provide an update on the planned new Coast Guard station at Courtown Harbour, County Wexford.

Of the matters raised by the Senators suitable for discussion, I have selected Senators Hoey, Conway, Maria Byrne and Davitt and they will be taken now. I regret that I had to rule out of order the matter raised by Senator Fiona O'Loughlin on the ground that it is sub judice. The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters that they wish to raise.
