I welcome the Minister of State, Deputy Browne, who is taking this morning's Commencement matters as many of the senior Ministers are preparing for the Cabinet meeting this morning.

I have notice from Senator Robbie Gallagher on the motion for the Commencement of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Justice to make a statement on his plans to amend the Land and Conveyancing Law Reform Act 2009 in respect of the registering of rights of way.

I have also received notice from Senators Timmy Dooley and Jerry Buttimer of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport to make a statement on the steps he is taking to address the crisis in the aviation sector, particularly in light of the cessation of operation of Stobart Air over the weekend.

I have also received notice from Senator Eugene Murphy of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport to consider putting in place a temporary amnesty on the requirement for a driver theory test.

I have also received notice from Senator Rónán Mullen of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to review the Personal Injuries Assessment Board Act 2003, to legislate for those who knowingly or recklessly make false or misleading statements in an application or claim to the Personal Injuries Assessment Board.

The need for the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to support the roll-out of co-working hubs in suburban and urban villages.

I have also received notice from Senator Denis O'Donovan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to seek the revocation of Article 61(1) of Council Regulation (EC) No. 1224/2009, which imposes unrealistic demands on fishermen to have all products weighed on landing.

The need for the Minister for Transport to make a statement on the N24 motorway project and the need to include a bypass of Tipperary town.

The need for the Minister for Education to provide an update on the construction of a new school building for Bunscoil Coláiste Mhuire, 4 Cearnóg Parnell, Dublin 1.

The need for the Minister for Education to undertake a review of the Teaching Council.

I have also received notice from Senator Paul Gavan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to outline his plans to address the challenges of long-term unemployment blackspots in Limerick.

I have also received notice from Senator Sharon Keogan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the roll-out of a minor ailment scheme through the national network of pharmacies.

I have also received notice from Senator Tim Lombard of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport to make a statement on the current allocation of funding to Cork County Council for its roads maintenance programme.

I have also received notice from Senator Shane Cassells of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to ensure that defibrillators placed in local communities are maintained and recharged regularly.

The matters raised by the Senators are suitable for discussion. I have selected the matters raised by Senators Gallagher, Dooley and Buttimer, who will share time, Murphy, Mullen, Currie and O'Donovan, and they will be taken now. The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters that they wish to raise. The matters concerning health cannot be taken because of ongoing issues regarding the cyberattack on the HSE.
