I have received notice from Senator Máire Devine that, on the Commencement of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to provide an update on the appointment of a sarcoma specialist for St. Vincent's University Hospital, Dublin.

I have also received notice from Senator Kevin Humphreys of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport to make a statement on the purchase by Iarnród Éireann of additional carriages for the InterCity network.

I have also received notice from Senator Victor Boyhan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government to make a statement on the current status of the final accounts for Dún Laoghaire Harbour Company and the potential financial exposure for Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council as a result of the transfer of the company to the local authority.

I have also received notice from Senator Tim Lombard of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Skills to provide an update on the acquisition of a new site for Gaelscoil Chionn tSáile, Kinsale, County Cork.

I have also received notice from Senator Catherine Noone of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to provide an update on the works at Howth Harbour and the funding to be allocated to it.

I have also received notice from Senator Anthony Lawlor of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the funding to be allocated for the development of the endoscopic unit in Naas General Hospital, County Kildare.

I have also received notice from Senator Aodhán Ó Ríordáin of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the review of the inclusion of FreeStyle Libre in the reimbursement of medical devices under the community drug scheme.

I have also received notice from Senator Frank Feighan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Justice and Equality to outline the timeframe for the construction of a new Garda headquarters in Sligo.

I have also received notice from Senator Maura Hopkins of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to provide an update on the external report into mental health services in County Roscommon.

Of the matters raised by the Senators which are suitable for discussion, I have selected the matter raised by Senator Devine and it will be taken now. Senators Humphreys, Boyhan and Lombard have withdrawn their Commencement matters which I had selected. I regret that I had to rule out of order the matter raised by Senator Feighan on the ground that it is a repeat of a Commencement matter raised on 25 June 2019. The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
