I have received notice from Senator Máire Devine that, on the motion for the Commencement of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment to outline the measures being taken to ensure the viability of the post office network in the future.
I have also received notice from Senator Victor Boyhan of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government to outline his plans for the establishment of a regulator for the approved housing body sector.
I have also received notice from Senator Paul Gavan of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to make a statement on the recommendations made by the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Business, Enterprise and Innovation in its report entitled, The Situation of Non-EEA Crew in the Irish Fishing Fleet under the Atypical Worker Permission Scheme.
I have also received notice from Senator Lorraine Clifford-Lee of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport to consider the provision of a public swimming pool in north Fingal.
I have also received notice from Senator Fintan Warfield of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht to extend the Copyright and Related Rights Act 2000 to the legal deposit of digital publications.
I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion. I have selected the matters raised Senators Máire Devine, Victor Boyhan, Paul Gavan and Lorraine Clifford-Lee and they will be taken now. Senator Fintan Warfield may give notice on another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
