I have also received notice from Senator Martin Conway of the following matter:

I have also received notice from Senator Maura Hopkins of the following matter:

I have also received notice from Senator Maria Byrne of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to review the eligibility measures in place in order to qualify for the primary medical certificate.

I have also received notice from Senator Tim Lombard of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport to make funding available for the completion of the Bandon bypass.

I have also received notice from Senator Colm Burke of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to sanction the appointment of additional accident and emergency consultants at Mercy University Hospital, Cork in view of the large number of patients attending the emergency department.

I have also received notice from Senator Frank Feighan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport to provide an update on the status of and funding for the N5-Ballaghaderreen to Scramogue road project and sections of the N4 that have been identified for upgrading.

I have also received notice from Senator Catherine Noone of the following matter:

The need for the Minister of Health to provide funding for a third paediatric rheumatologist to be recruited with a specialist care team in view of the fact that many children diagnosed with juvenile arthritis have to wait for up to two and a half years for treatment and that the World Health Organization recommends having at least six paediatric rheumatologists for a population of Ireland's size.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion. I have selected the matters raised by Senators Mark Daly, Trevor Ó Clochartaigh, Martin Conway and Maura Hopkins and they will be taken now. Senators Maria Byrne, Tim Lombard, Colm Burke, Frank Feighan and Catherine Noone may give notice on another day of the matters that they wish to raise.
