I have notice from Senator Trevor Ó Clochartaigh that, on the motion for the Commencement of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to clarify what is being done by his Department with regard to concerns about the lack of a prompt and efficient ambulance service in the Leenane area of Connemara.
I have also received notice from Senator Colm Burke of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Health to confirm that the Department of Health will work with the HSE to identify a suitable site for a new hospital in Cork which has been recommended in a report submitted by the south reconfiguration board of the HSE.
I have also received notice from Senator Lorraine Higgins of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources to explore additional funding streams for the roll-out of natural gas in areas of strategic importance.
I have also received notice from Senator Martin Conway of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation to comment on an application for an employment permit for a start-up company in County Clare, details supplied.
I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion. I have selected the matters raised by Senators Trevor Ó Clochartaigh and Colm Burke and they will be taken now. Senators Lorraine Higgins and Martin Conway have withdrawn the Commencement matters which I had selected for discussion.
