I have notice from Senator Brian Ó Domhnaill that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Skills to include Scoil Mhuire, Stranorlar, County Donegal, in the Government’s school building capital programme.

I have also received notice from Senator John Whelan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Skills to set out the numbers and status of those currently in the various apprenticeship schemes, as well as the proposals her Department has for SOLAS to reform and revamp the apprenticeships programme with a view to addressing current shortcomings and making it more fit for purpose for trainees and employers.

I have also received notice from Senator Rónán Mullen of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade to explain, in light of the provisions on the family of Article 41 of the Constitution, why Ireland voted against UN Resolution A/HRC/26/L.20/Rev.1 on the protection of the family at the United Nations Human Rights Council on 26 June 2014.

I have also received notice from Senator Martin Conway of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government to intervene in a case, details supplied, regarding an exemption from motor tax for a refuse vehicle used in a private facility.

I have also received notice from Senator Tom Sheahan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to explain the new practice of fish weighing on the pier at Killybegs, County Donegal.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Ó Domhnaill, Whelan, Mullen and Sheahan as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Conway may give notice on another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
