I have received notice from Senator Marie Moloney that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

To ask the Minister for Finance the reason the dedicated LPT helpline is unable to deal with queries such as the reason people are being issued with the wrong payment amounts or from people who are seeking to have the LPT letter reissued having lost the original one; people are being advised instead that they must transfer the call to "head office", to which it is impossible to get through, and they are then advised to "call back at another time" when the whole scenario is played out again.
I have also received notice from Senator Fidelma Healy Eames of the following matter:
To ask the Minister for Finance, in view of the expected exit from the bailout programme, if he would consider amending the Fiscal Responsibility Act 2012 to require a statement each year of (i) the contingent liabilities of the State based on current policies, including pensions and guarantees, and (ii) the policy measures needed to live within the expenditure caps the Government has set for future years.
I have also received notice from Senator Thomas Byrne of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport to make a statement on the request by the Slane Community Forum to designate "Slane Hub" as an official Bord Fáilte tourist office.
I have also received notice from Senator David Cullinane of the following matter:
To ask the Minister for Health to provide an update on plans to build a palliative care centre in Waterford and to outline the costs involved in completing the project, the funding to be provided by the Department and the timeframe for delivery.
I have also received notice from Senator Martin Conway of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Education and Skills to comment on the accommodation requirements of Scoil Mhainchín national school, Ennistymon, County Clare and, in particular, the prefab classroom rental grant.
I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected the matters raised by Senators Marie Moloney, Fidelma Healy Eames, Thomas Byrne and David Cullinane and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Martin Conway may give notice on another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
