I have received notice from Senator David Cullinane that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources to address concerns regarding the Grid Link project earmarked by EirGrid for Waterford and involving the installation of pylons, especially in view of the impact on the landscape and the advantages of under-grounding the power lines.
I have also received notice from Senator Colm Burke of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Health to consider extending the time period for the issuance of emergency medical cards from six to 12 months.
I have also received notice from Senator Marie Moloney of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Social Protection to issue a reminder that recipients of carer's benefit will be reviewed after 12 months to avoid total stoppage of payment.
I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
