Yes, 12.30 a.m. The House must deal with emergency legislation being proposed by the Government.

On a point of order, I strongly oppose the forcing through of emergency legislation in the Dáil and Seanad. It is not good enough for the Cabinet-----

Is it agreed to suspend the House until 12.30 a.m.?
Diarmuid Wilson (Fianna Fail)

On a point of order, although it is highly irregular to have emergency legislation coming into the House, it is only fair that we hear what it is about. Therefore, we agree to the suspension of the House.

As fewer than five Members have risen I declare the question carried. In accordance with Standing Order 59, the names of the Senators dissenting will be recorded in the Journal of the Proceedings of the Seanad.
