I have received notice from Senator John Whelan that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Finance to ensure the enforcement of the pay cap in banks in receipt of State aid; the action he intends to take in order to curb their excessive pension payments funded from the public purse and to outline the impediment, legal or otherwise, preventing him from doing so in the public interest.
I have also received notice from Senator Jim Walsh of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the increase in diabetes related foot ulcers and amputations; and to clarify the current status of the podiatry post at Wexford General Hospital that was sanctioned in April 2012 and when this position will be filled.
I have also received notice from Senator Trevor Ó Clochartaigh of the following matter:
Go ndtabharfaidh an tAire Ealaíon, Oidhreachta agus Gaeltachta sonraí maidir leis na socraithe maoinithe atá déanta maidir le tógail Ionad Oidhreachta ag Teach an Phiarsiagh i Ros Muc, Co. na Gaillimhe, cé na heagraíochtaí Stáit atá ag plé leis agus cén scála ama atá le go dtogfar é.
I have also received notice from Senator Thomas Byrne of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Defence to outline the reasons for the transfer of the last remaining ten Air Corps members from Gormanston Camp to Baldonnel, and the need to reverse this decision.
I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
