I have received notice from Senator Deirdre Clune that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to ensure the increase in the use of heroin in the Cork region is tackled in an effective manner.

I have also received notice from Senator Mary Moran of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport to make a statement on the health and safety aspects of the cycle lanes and associated works at Stapleton Place, Dundalk, which were funded by his Department and are a safety hazard.

I have also received notice from Senator Thomas Landy of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Skills to clarify if he is aware that the Presentation primary school in Carrick-on-Suir is due to lose eight of its 26 teachers as a result of changes to pupil-teacher ratios and the loss of legacy posts and support teachers, and to address this matter urgently to assuage the concerns of the teachers, parents and local community on this issue.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
