I have received notice from Senator Imelda Henry that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to address the recommendation in the independent Trinity College report, There's No Place Like Home, that the HSE fill the financial gap to enable the expansion of the Jack and Jill Children's Foundation to cover children up to the age of six.

I have also received notice from Senator Kathryn Reilly of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources to discuss the report of the international expert commission established in July 2011 to review and report on the undergrounding of the Meath-Tyrone 400kV power lines.

I have also received notice from Senator Martin Conway of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Finance to include surf lessons in the 9% VAT rate which was introduced in the tourism sector as part of the jobs initiative last summer.

I have also received notice from Senator Mark Daly of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government to clarify, having regard to the interim report of the local government-local development alignment steering group, whether he is seeking closer alignment of the local development companies with the local authorities integration.

I have also received notice from Senator Trevor Ó Clochartaigh of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to discuss the impact that health funding cuts will have on the delivery of services in Waterford Regional Hospital.

I have also received notice from Senator Fidelma Healy Eames of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Skills to review the position of small rural schools, the added concerns of Gaeltacht schools, the rural DEIS schools and the special case of Scoil Mhuire, An Tuairin, Beal an Daingin, Connemara.

I have also received notice from Senator Brian Ó Domhnaill of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government to clarify the position in regard to MFG Teoranta and when a new Leader funding administrator will be appointed for Gaeltacht areas.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected the matters raised by Senators Imelda Henry, Kathryn Reilly, Martin Conway and Mark Daly and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senators Trevor Ó Clochartaigh, Thomas Byrne, David Cullinane, Fidelma Healy Eames and Brian Ó Domhnaill may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
