I have received notice from Senator Thomas Byrne that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Finance to discuss the need to amend NAMA legislation to ensure borrowers are forced to pay NAMA what they previously owed their banks.

I have also received notice from Senator David Cullinane of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Skills to discuss the decision not to locate the administrative centre of the new amalgamated VEC of south east Waterford in the gateway city of the region and the process by which this decision was reached.

I have also received notice from Senator Ivana Bacik of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Justice and Equality to provide a specific date when the unacceptable detention of children in St. Patrick's Institution will be ended; and if there is to be a further delay in achieving this, that at the very least children detained there will be given access to the complaints mechanism of the Ombudsman for Children.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
