That the report of the Committee on Procedure and Privileges on the Committee on Members' Interests of Seanad Éireann dated 5 July and laid before Seanad Éireann be printed and is hereby adopted.

I move:

That Seanad Éireann agrees with the recommendation of the Committee on Procedure and Privileges that, in accordance with the provisions for the address to Seanad Éireann by Distinguished Persons, Mr. Jerzy Buzek, President of the European Parliament be invited to address Seanad Éireann on 12 July, 2011 and the following arrangements shall apply. The proceedings at such address shall commence at 2.30 p.m.and shall consist of a speech by the Cathaoirleach welcoming President Buzek, the address by President Buzek at the conclusion of which he will reply to questions from Group Leaders and a speech of thanks by the Leas-Chathaoirleach for the address; the proceedings shall conclude no later than 3 p.m. whereupon the Seanad shall suspend its sitting until 3.45 p.m. when the ordinary routine of business shall ensue.
