I have received notice from Senator Fidelma Healy Eames that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to clarify if the HSE will address, as a matter of urgency, the serious lack of community health doctors in County Galway which is putting the health of children at risk.

I have also received notice from Senator Terry Leyden of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to outline the progress made on the Government's proposed wording for a referendum on the protection of children and his views on the proposal for a constitutional amendment to strengthen children's rights as outlined in the final report of the Joint Committee on the Constitutional Amendment on Children of February 2010.

I have also received notice from Senator Brian Ó Domhnaill of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Marine and Food to provide adequate compensation for farmers whose grazing lands and agricultural fencing were destroyed during the recent gorse fires which took place across several countries, including Donegal.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
