I have received notice from Senator Nicky McFadden that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government to respond to the flooding report published in July by the Joint Committee on the Environment, Heritage and Local Government.

I have also received notice from Senator Ciaran Cannon of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government to indicate the reason an application to carry out works at the Lorro Gate, Athenry, County Galway, has not yet been processed, despite it being over three years since the application was first submitted.

I have also received notice from Senator Cecilia Keaveney of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources to outline the meetings he has had recently at North-South level to ensure a smooth transfer to digital television at the end of the year, particularly in the north west.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
