I have received notice from the Senator Pearse Doherty that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to outline the long-term position of both Lifford Community Hospital and the Rock Hospital, County Donegal, and clarify if these hospitals will be subject to closure in the future.

I have also received notice from Senator Ciaran Cannon of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government to indicate the reason work has not commenced on phase 2 of the Loughrea regional water supply scheme, County Galway, considering that it was listed as a scheme to start in 2007.

I have also received notice from Senator Jerry Buttimer of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism to make a statement on the future role of Fáilte Ireland training centres in providing training courses for people who are unemployed in Cork, Dublin and Waterford and make reference to the 2007 to 2009 figures.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
