Business of Seanad
I have received notice from Senator Paschal Donohoe that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism to provide an update on the policy to amalgamate the National Gallery, the Museum of Modern Art and the Crawford Gallery and the plans, if any, he has for legislation to achieve same.
I have also received notice from Senator Fidelma Healy Eames of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Transport to confirm how secure the funding for the western rail corridor is and to outline the timeframe for implementation of same.
I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
