I have received notice from Senator Phil Prendergast that, on the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to provide funding for the Befriending Service for mental health in south Tipperary.

I have also received notice from Senator Cecelia Keaveney of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to outline the campaign, if any, that exists pre the summer holidays to warn people about the dangers of melanoma from sun exposure or sun bed use.

I have also received notice from Senator David Norris of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to address the situation under which final year pharmacy students are being prevented from taking up necessary pre-registration pharmacy places by the moratorium on recruitment of public sector staff.

I have also received notice from Senator Fidelma Healy Eames of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to outline the educational thinking and approach he recommends so that two teachers can effectively teach English to 154 foreign national children in Scoil Mhuire, Oranmore, County Galway, and if he will reverse his decision to withdraw two EAL teachers.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected the matters raised by Senators Prendergast, Keaveney and Norris and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Healy Eames may give notice on another day of the matter she wishes to raise.
