I have received notice from Senator Nicky McFadden that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she wishes to raise the following matter:

I have also received notice from Senator Paudie Coffey of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Agriculture and Food to outline the present status of the farm waste management scheme in the Waterford constituency, the number of grant applications outstanding, the total amount of grant allocations he expects to pay and when it is expected to make these payments to the approved applicants.

I have also received notice from Senator Cecilia Keaveney of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government to give an update on how well the towns of Buncrana, Moville, Greencastle, Clonmany and Ballyliffen fulfil European standards in regard to waste water and the processes that are in place between the local authorities and his Department to ensure such regulation compliance.

I have also received notice from Senator Paschal Donohoe of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform to provide an update on the provision of a CCTV scheme in the Sheriff Street area of Dublin 1; and if funding will be provided for this scheme.

I have also received notice from Senator Brian Ó Domhnaill of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to ensure that there will be no reduction in teacher numbers at Aphort national school, Aran Islands.

I have also received notice from Senator Jerry Buttimer of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to outline her plans for a rehabilitation hospital in Cork as this new facility is required as a matter of urgency.

I have also received notice from Senator Joe O'Reilly of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to outline his proposals for the refurbishment of St. Aidan's comprehensive school, Cootehill, County Cavan.

I have also received notice from Senator Eugene Regan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to confirm the current status, including the availability of funding, of the proposed development of the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dún Laoghaire, as provided for in the National Development Plan 2007-2013 and confirmed by the Department of Health and Children on 23 January 2007.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senators McFadden, Coffey and Keaveney and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. The remaining Senators may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
