I have notice from Senator Eugene Regan that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport to include Pottery Road, Dún Laoghaire in the regional and local roads programme; and to confirm when financing will be made available for the Pottery Road improvement scheme.

I have also received notice from Senator John Paul Phelan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to outline the present position with regard to allocating the necessary funding to upgrade facilities at St. Mary's College, Knockbeg, Carlow.

I have also received notice from Senator Shane Ross of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to re-assess the withdrawal of EPV days for teachers engaged in voluntary work abroad.

I have also received notice from Senator Cecilia Keaveney of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources to give an update on the equalisation of mobile telephone calls and the elimination of roaming costs on an island and European basis.

I have also received notice from Senator Rónán Mullen of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism to introduce legislation regarding the governing of exhibitions.

I have also received notice from Senator Nicky McFadden of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism to relocate the Athlone tourist office to a more convenient site rather than the off-street location where it is at present.

I regard the matters raised by Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and I have selected Senators Regan, Phelan and Ross and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.

I regret I have had to rule out of order the matter raised by Senator McFadden as the Minister has no official responsibility in the matter. The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
