I have also received notice from Senator Fiona O'Malley of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to discuss Ireland's national plan of action to address female genital mutilation which was launched yesterday.

I have also received notice from Senator Maria Corrigan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to give the estimated timeframe for commencement of secondary school provision for the Leopardstown-Stepaside area of County Dublin where a site has been identified.

I have also received notice from Senator Cecilia Keaveney of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Social and Family Affairs to examine the potential to link PRSI contributions in the UK with those made in Ireland.

I have also received notice from Senator Frances Fitzgerald of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs to outline how he intends to fund Collinstown sports complex, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, and other community based sports centres given the withdrawal of dormant account funding and the imminent closure of this facility which is currently used by 1,200 children per week.

I have also received notice from Senator Jerry Buttimer of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport to take the appropriate steps to recognise the remembrance day for victims of road traffic accidents.

I have also received notice from Senator Pearse Doherty of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government to address the financial crisis being experienced by Donegal County Council, which has led to the announcement that 238 employees of the council are to be made redundant, and to outline whether the moneys to be collected from the €200 levy to be applied to all non-principal places of residence has been included in the contribution made to the council in the form of the local government fund.

I have also received notice from Senator Brian Ó Domhnaill of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport to consider providing assistance to bus operators following the removal of the fuel rebate.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected the matters raised by Senators Healy Eames, O'Malley and Corrigan, and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. The remaining Senators may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
