I have received notice from Senator Mary White that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Foreign Affairs to provide a report on the progress of the implementation of the Flood report on Irish prisoners abroad.

I have also received notice from Senator Shane Ross of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to address the lack of specialist register training in maxillofacial surgery in Ireland.

I have also received notice from Senator Cecilia Keaveney of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to meet with his Northern counterpart to deal with the lack of access to student supports available in the form of bursaries and other financial sources for students from the Republic which is causing serious hardship for many.

I have also received notice from Senator Paschal Donohoe of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport to provide residents affected by the construction of metro north with funding for effective legal representation during the planning process.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected the matters raised by Senators Mary White, Ross and Keaveney and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Donohoe may give notice on another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
