I have received notice from Senator Nicky McFadden that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government to approve the application for top-up funding on the essential repairs grant, ERG, and the disabled person's grant, DPG, made by Westmeath County Council.

I have also received notice from Senator Pearse Doherty of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to address the serious anomalies, inequalities and maladministration procedures with regard to the third level Gaeltacht scholarship scheme, which led to many young people from disadvantaged Gaeltacht areas receiving less that half of their full grant with no indication of when the remaining grant will be disbursed.

I regard the matters raised by Senators McFadden and Doherty as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
