I have notice from Senator Frances Fitzgerald that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs to outline the reason the benchmarking pay award has not been paid to some staff (details supplied) who work for local drugs task forces.

I have also received notice from Senator Jerry Buttimer of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to restore respite beds in St. Laurence Cheshire home Cork.

I have also received notice from Senator Ivor Callely of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to clarify the concern regarding the impact on the pharmaceutical supply chain arising out of the proposed reimbursement and new contracts for pharmacies.

I have also received notice from Senator Cecilia Keaveney of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to outline the current status of the health check for all citizens promised in the programme for Government.

I have also received notice from Senator Brian Ó Domhnaill of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government to progress the scheduled development work on the Gortahork-Falcarragh water supply scheme and the Rosses regional water supply scheme and to outline details surrounding the acceptability from a health point of view of asbestos pipes in supplying public water in the above mentioned schemes.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected the matters raised by Senators Frances Fitzgerald, Jerry Buttimer and Ivor Callely and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senators Cecilia Keaveney and Brian Ó Domhnaill may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
