I have notice from Senator Brian O'Domhnaill that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism to provide an update on the progress made by the national 2012 Olympic task force in attracting potential Olympic teams to use Ireland as a training base prior to the London games.

I have also received notice from Senator John Paul Phelan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to remove the existing cap on community employment schemes to ensure that all participants on the scheme can remain until reaching retirement age.

I have also received notice from Senator Jerry Buttimer of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to clarify the situation regarding the timetable for the design and construction of the new St. Angela's secondary school in Cork city.

I have also received notice from Senator Déirdre de Búrca of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to outline her intentions regarding the implementation of the recommendations of the Pollock report commissioned by the Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland and published in 2005.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected the matters raised by Senators Brian O'Domhnaill, John Paul Phelan and Jerry Buttimer and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Déirdre de Búrca may give notice on another day of the matter she wishes to raise.
