I have notice from Senator Donohoe that on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to make a statement on the current conditions and future plans for Gaelscoil Bharra, Cabra, Dublin 7.

I have also received notice from Senator Keaveney of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport to discuss, with his ministerial counterpart in the Assembly, a direct Dublin to Derry train service and to outline the impediments, if any, which would hinder such a service from being realised.

I have also received notice from Senator Cannon of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government to consider rescinding the ministerial order allowing the removal of the Turoe Stone from its current location to a new location at Galway city.

I have also received notice from Senator Ellis of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to advise on the position with regard to the proposal to remove the rheumatology services from Manorhamilton and transfer them to Sligo General Hospital.

I have also received notice from Senator Ross of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to review his decision to refuse an employment permit in respect of a person (details supplied).

I have also received notice from Senator McFadden of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources to outline the Bord Gáis policy for the connection, transmission and distribution of natural gas.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Donohoe, Keaveney, Cannon, Ellis and Ross as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected the matters raised by Senators Donohoe, Keaveney and Cannon and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senators Ellis and Ross may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise. I regret I have had to rule out of order the matter raised by Senator McFadden as the Minister has no function in this matter.
